Emile Walters (1869–1952) was a Canadian artist known for his impressionistic landscapes and vibrant use of color. Born in St. John, New Brunswick, he later moved to the United States, where he studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Walters was influenced by the Impressionist movement and often depicted scenes of rural life, capturing the beauty of nature and everyday moments with a unique blend of light and texture. His work reflects a deep appreciation for the American landscape, and he is celebrated for his ability to convey emotion through his art.
